Made responsibly, told honestly

We would rather give you checkable facts than green adjectives. Here is how our garments are made, who makes them, and what we do and don’t yet hold.

How a garment is made matters as much as the garment. We are a young factory building responsibly — and we would rather tell you plainly what is true today than claim badges we have not earned.

Electricity: 44,044 kWh on our last 12 electricity bills (September 2025 – August 2026): about 3,670 kWh a month — about 0.12–0.14 kWh per garment at full capacity (40,000–50,000 pieces a month) — from Nepal’s predominantly hydro-electric grid. Wages: Every member of the team is paid above Nepal’s statutory minimum wage, on time, every cycle.
Cutting waste: Cutting-room offcuts are collected every day and go to a local textile recycler.
Water: No process water — we cut and sew. Dyeing happens upstream at fabric mills, where OEKO-TEX-certified fabric is available on request.
People: 80–90% women month to month (we publish 80% as the floor), all local and permanent — including two deaf operators running the same machines to the same standard.

We don’t yet hold third-party social certifications such as amfori BSCI or Sedex/SMETA — we say so plainly, and they are on our roadmap. Your audit is welcome any time.

The power behind your garments

Nepal makes most of its electricity from its rivers. Here is what that means for your order, in numbers you can check.

of the electricity available in Nepal in 2024/25 was generated in Nepal — overwhelmingly from hydropower (NEA 34%, independent producers 55%). Why we don’t call ourselves “green”, “eco-friendly” or “carbon-neutral”: those words say nothing you can check, and from 27 September 2026 the EU bans such claims without proof. We give you the numbers instead.

We don’t yet hold BSCI, SMETA or GOTS, and we won’t show a badge we haven’t earned. If certification is a requirement for your programme, tell us and we’ll say honestly whether we can meet your timeline — or see our full compliance status.
