Common questions
- Is it duty-free into my market?
- Woven garments follow different origin rules from knits. We confirm the duty status for your market and fabric before you order.
- Which HS heading covers a woven shirt?
- Woven shirts are in chapter 62, not 61: men’s and boys’ shirts fall under 6205, and women’s and girls’ blouses and shirts under 6206. Because origin rules for woven garments can differ from knits, we confirm the duty status for your market and fabric before you order.
- Poplin, oxford or twill?
- Poplin is fine and smooth, the classic crisp shirt. Oxford is a heavier basket weave with a casual texture that suits button-downs. Twill has a diagonal weave that drapes well and wrinkles less. Send a swatch or a reference garment and we match it.
