01Who it’s for

Indian buyers we make for

  • Clothing brands and D2C startups: launch a range in several colours without a container-sized order.
  • Streetwear labels: oversized and heavyweight tees and hoodies, cut to your pattern.
  • Wholesalers and traders: basics in core colours, delivered by road to north India.
  • Uniform and corporate buyers: polos, T-shirts and sweatshirts, with each reorder made to the approved sample. Uniform programmes.
  • Export houses: knitwear made to your buyer’s tech pack when your own lines are full.

02What we make

Private label, from fabric to packed carton

T-shirts in regular and oversized fits, polo shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies in fleece or French terry, knit shorts and kids’ co-ord sets, cut and sewn to your tech pack, with your woven labels, care labels, hangtags and packing. Printing and embroidery are arranged through partner workshops and coordinated by our team. Choosing a weight? What 180, 200 and 240 GSM mean.

03Why a factory in Nepal

What an Indian brand gets from us

  • Small minimums: 200 pieces per style and colour, 1,000 per order, so a first drop can carry five colours of one style.
  • 0% basic customs duty when the Nepal–India treaty’s origin rules are met; IGST is payable as on any purchase. How the treaty works.
  • Indian fabric counts as local under the treaty, and we can source it for you, or use yours.
  • By road, not by sea: delivery to the Bhairahawa–Sunauli or Birgunj–Raxaul border, or on to your city by agreement.
  • Pay in rupees: INR or USD bank transfer, or a Letter of Credit.

04How an order runs

Sample, approval, bulk, delivery

  • Sample. Send your tech pack or a reference garment. Samples take 7–14 days.
  • Approval. You approve the sample and colours in writing; we check each style against the treaty’s origin rule before quoting it duty-free.
  • Bulk. Bulk is dispatched 25–30 days after sample approval, with a final AQL 2.5 inspection.
  • Delivery. By truck to the border, where your customs agent clears the goods with our certificate of origin, then on to your warehouse. See your landed cost in the ₹ import duty calculator.

Questions

Straight answers.

Is Trishakti Apparel an Indian manufacturer?
No. Our factory is in Gaindakot, Nepal, about 3 hours by road from the Sunauli border. We sell to Indian buyers under the Nepal–India Treaty of Trade, with a certificate of origin for each consignment.
What is your minimum order for Indian brands?
200 pieces per style and colour, with at least 1,000 pieces in the order. Five colours of one style, or two styles in three colours, reach the 1,000-piece total.
Do you make oversized and heavyweight T-shirts?
Yes, cut to your pattern. Oversized and boxy fits usually need heavier fabric, typically 240 GSM or more, so the shape holds; we confirm the fabric with you at sampling.
Can you add our brand labels and packaging?
Yes. We sew in your woven neck labels, care and size labels, attach your hangtags and pack to your specification. Printing and embroidery are done by partner workshops and coordinated by our team.
What duty does an Indian brand pay?
0% basic customs duty when the garments meet the Nepal–India treaty’s origin rules and carry a Nepali certificate of origin. IGST applies at 5%, or 18% above Rs 2,500 sale value per piece, and is usually creditable for GST-registered buyers.
How do we pay and receive the goods?
Pay in INR or USD by bank transfer, or by Letter of Credit. We deliver to the Nepal–India border or to your city by agreement; your customs agent clears the goods in India.
