Common questions
- Is it duty-free into my market?
- Into the EU, UK and Japan, knit garments cut and sewn in Nepal enter at 0% while Nepal is a least-developed country — with our REX statement on origin on your invoice for the EU and UK, and a GSP Form A certificate for Japan. We confirm the rule for your exact HS line and market before you order.
- Which HS heading covers a polo shirt?
- Men’s and boys’ knit shirts fall under 6105, and women’s and girls’ under 6106. Both headings exclude garments with pockets below the waist or a ribbed or tightened hem, and 6105 excludes sleeveless styles. A polo with a ribbed hem usually moves to 6110. We note the likely heading per style on the quote; your broker confirms the final line.
- Will the collar match the body colour exactly?
- Flat-knit collars and cuffs are knitted and dyed separately from the body fabric, so a slight shade difference is possible. Approve the body and collar together on the sample, and agree the shade tolerance before bulk.
