What jersey basics does Trishakti Apparel make?
Trishakti Apparel makes long-sleeve tees, henleys, ribbed tops and layering knits in single jersey, rib and interlock, graded for men, women and children in Optitex CAD and built to your tech pack. The minimum is 200 pieces per style and colour (1,000 per order); samples take 7–14 days and bulk production 25–30 days.

What should your tech pack specify for long-sleeve & jersey basics?
- 01 Construction per style: single jersey, 1×1 or 2×2 rib, or interlock, with GSM and any elastane percentage
- 02 Rib tops: whether measurements are taken relaxed or extended, and the stretch and recovery you expect
- 03 Henleys: placket length, number of buttons and button type
- 04 Long sleeves: rib cuff or self-hem, and whether sleeve length is measured from the shoulder point or centre back
- 05 Size range and base size for each line — men’s, women’s and children’s grade differently
- 06 Sets: which styles must shade-match and should be cut from the same fabric lot

Common questions
- Is it duty-free into my market?
- Into the EU, UK and Japan, knit garments cut and sewn in Nepal enter at 0% while Nepal is a least-developed country — with our REX statement on origin on your invoice for the EU and UK, and a GSP Form A certificate for Japan. We confirm the rule for your exact HS line and market before you order.
- Is a henley classified as a T-shirt?
- Not always. The chapter notes describe shirts as garments with a full or partial opening starting at the neckline, so depending on the placket, collar and fabric a henley can fall under 6109 or under 6105/6106. A layering top with a ribbed hem is excluded from 6109. We give the likely heading per style; your broker confirms it.
- Rib or interlock for a close-fitting top?
- Rib stretches much more across the width and recovers well, so it suits close-fitting tops. Interlock is smoother, more stable and more opaque, which suits basics that should hold their shape without clinging. Our fabric guide compares them side by side.
