Minimums, explained.

Why is the minimum per colour, not per order?
Our minimum is 1,000 pieces per style per colour. Splitting one style across several colours means each colour needs to reach the minimum, so three colours of one T-shirt is 3,000 pieces, not 1,000. The minimum is flexible per programme: ask if your range is close.
How do I keep a first order small?
Consolidate colours. One hero colour keeps a test at 1,000 pieces instead of 3,000. Start with one or two hero styles, prove sell-through, then widen the range on reorders.
How long does production take?
Samples take 7–14 days after we review your tech pack, and bulk takes 40–50 days after you approve the pre-production sample. The line makes 26,000–30,000 pieces a month, so larger ranges are scheduled across months. Ask about current availability when you request a quote.
Do other factories work the same way?
Many factories set minimums per colour, but the numbers differ. Ask each supplier for their minimum per style and per colour in writing, and the unit price at half and double that quantity.
