Common questions
- Is it duty-free into my market?
- Into the EU, UK and Japan, knit garments cut and sewn in Nepal enter at 0% while Nepal is a least-developed country — with our REX statement on origin on your invoice for the EU and UK, and a GSP Form A certificate for Japan. We confirm the rule for your exact HS line and market before you order.
- Which HS heading do knit shorts fall under?
- Men’s and boys’ knit shorts come under 6103, and women’s and girls’ under 6104. A matching top and shorts in identical fabric, put up as a set, can count as an “ensemble” within those headings, but not when the top is a T-shirt (6109), which is excluded from ensembles. Swim shorts go to 6112.
- Elastic or drawcord waist?
- An enclosed elastic waist is quick to wear and suits kids and loungewear. Adding a drawcord gives adults an adjustable fit and a sportier look. For young children’s sizes, check the drawstring rules for your market first.
